Helping Access Cyber Knowledge Everywhere, Realistically.

About Us

At The Helping Access Cyber Knowledge Everywhere Realistically (H.A.C.K.E.R.) Project, we aim to promote good cyber hygiene, discuss technological innovations, and provide easy access to cyber- and tech-related news and information. We are committed to making this site as user-friendly and accessible to as wide a range of audiences as possible.

The H.A.C.K.E.R. Project publishes articles on a semi-regular basis. There are four primary categories that an article can potentially be a part of: News, Info, Opinions, Tips & Tricks. Some articles may be only in one category, while others may span several.

Articles that belong in the Info category generally serve to explain a particular topic. For example, these articles may explain how certain technologies work, what a particular malware is capable of, or the features of a given programming language, among other topics.

Articles under the News category cover current events, including data breaches, hacker group activity, technology product releases, technology company activity, or important updates relating to technology, among other topics.

Articles in the Opinions category are opinion pieces that may discuss a specific viewpoint of a particular topic of debate in the technological world. These articles do not reflect the views of The H.A.C.K.E.R. Project as a whole, but serve to help spark dialogue and share ideas on these issues.

Articles found within the Tips & Tricks category are generally shorter pieces of information about specific features, how-to guides, fun facts about a specific technology, or other tips that may be found useful.

Finally, there is a fifth category of article, Student Resources. This category serves as a way to collect articles that may be useful to college-age students together in one, easy-to-access location.
